He was the bad guy all along.  Comes to town, starts interfering in another guy's relationship, decided to soak Johnny - unprovoked - at the dance, has his handyman friend beat up Johnny and his friends and, importantly, "wins" the tournament with a patently illegal kick to the face.  Of course he became an entitled douche car dealer - that's where he was headed all along.  [/quote]
