Op here: I will address this one last time because clearly some of you are just stupid.

1) it is SIX people that we are having over.
2) it is a small backyard thing. Drinks, food, fire pit
3) we don’t live in DC. 
4) the state we live in allows outside parties of up to 50 people. We are having SIX people. 
5) I did not ask your opinion on me having 6 friends over for a small party to celebrate my husbands birthday

Do you get it now? It is S I X friends! I am not throwing a 200 people party at my house. I am LEGALLY allowed to have up to 50 people but I am just having 6. We are all late 20s, early 30s so I’m not having elderly people over and killing them like someone above said. So please just STFU because I truly don’t care if you have an issue with this. You aren’t coming to it so move the hell along. Thanks![/quote]
