What’s the issue with Halloween? It’s outside! People can spread candy out on a table and sit six feet away.
Our neighborhood already held three meetings about Halloween. The plan is to have people toss jumbo candy bars from their front step so kids can catch them roughly 6-8 feet away. It’s not a perfect plan, but it’s what the game plan is. Kids will he encouraged to carry white king size pillow cases to make it easy to catch the candy. We ordered neon reflective tape to make the pillow cases more visible.
You can't be serious? I mean, it's a fine idea, but do people really worry so much bout these things? And plan so far ahead?
Apparently so...as evidenced by the neighborhood meetings and game plan. This way everyone is on the same page: people have time to order the right size candy and practice tossing. It would be reckless to unleash such a plan with short notice.
NP. How ridiculous. I’m so glad I don’t live in an HOA.
It’s not organized by the hoa. It’s organized by a group of moms. While it seems excessive, the reality is these type A super moms coordinate amazing events that kids love. For adults, certain houses have fire pits, kegs, cider for adults and kids, and warm donut holes (homemade). Certain homes have carnival like games. Certain homes have haunted houses. It will be different this year, but it will still be epic...and I don’t need to do anything other than practice tossing jumbo candy bars.
