Also have a daughter on the DC team, and am conflicted on this year's edition of the team. It was a combination of factors, with some of the best definitely on the team, but also some definitely not on the team due to COVID, timing of the event, etc. Also, CLC's coach wasn't running the show, it was the Uproar coach and he didn't take over until it was too late, e.g. pulling the goalie, etc., as it was enough to get us tied with 30 seconds to go. BUt the biggest was the equal playing time thing. Totally get it for pool play but there needed to be some tough love in today's match. The 22s on the team lost the match without question. Nice girls, but they have maybe one season of high school varsity lacrosse as freshmen. Definitely not enough to face D1 commits that are rising seniors. Understand the camaraderie but not at the expense of advancing.[/quote]

It may not be kind but the poster is correct. Only one of the ‘22s ( maybe 2) is a top player. The rest got their roster spots through old fashion cronyism and horse trading.   Karma is more likely looking for the evaluators and coaches who ran the DC tryouts.
