If you want real info on Einstein or other DCC schools, or the neighborhoods that feed into them for that matter, DCUM is not the place to look. Mostly just a lot of outside looking in and assumptions here. FWIW, the neighborhoods that feed into Einstein are a mix of professional and working class. I have heard only good things about the school.
There are many of us Einstein/DCC parents here on DCUM. We try to give our first-hand perspectives whenever we can. You just need to sift through the threads to find the helpful nuggets from people who have experience in the schools and neighborhoods.
Honest Question. Why should we trust someone who is incentivized to rationalize why they send their kids so such a lowly rated school? Do you know much about the better schools ?
Not PP, but we have sent our three kids to Einstein. We did not use Great Schools ratings as criteria for making that choice, because test scores don’t reflect the quality of education. We like the community, the teachers, the leadership, the school spirit, the arts. The mixed demographics are reflective of those of our local geographic area. That is a feature, not a bug. I assume you are a W school family. Why should anyone trust you to report honestly on your experience with your kids’ schools?
