Lol no.  The 'McConnell Rule' isn't actually an enforceable rule...it's just typical GOP b.s.

Even if RBG manages to stay alive until Biden wins (both of which are far from guaranteed, especially the former) there are 2+ mos until the new president is sworn in.  The GOP will be very happy to use that space, if need be, to confirm a new SCOTUS judge...whatever fall out comes from doing this will be a drop in the bucket from the extreme benefits they have from having a 6-3 court for the next generation.

The conservatives will not have to worry about a "renegade" moderate judge b/c on every LGBT, labor, abortion, voting rights, etc decision they're cool if one of the conservatives goes against them.   [/quote]
