This is correct.  It is appropriate for a coach to provide an email for communication with parents.  And it is appropriate for a parent to email the coach and request a call if circumstances warrant.[/quote]

Because I had his phone number we developed a good relationship like most adults do. Kids use text and emails exclusively. Adults pick up the phone and talk. Face to face and voice communications beat digital every time when it comes to fostering a connection, mutual understanding, and respect. This blog itself proves this point. We can be rude or dismissive here and not really talk thru differences or get subtitles across. I can use a term like “morons” to get your attention where in person it would not be necessary. +1  face to face and phone conversations are preferable to emailing back and forth.  How were you able to get the coach's number? Did he/she have it entered in Teamsnap?[/quote]
