There is a big part of you that you feel you must protect from your mom. It is something that you put much effort into, though you don't always realize it. She does not realizes she threatens this part, she is just acting out of patterns deeply instilled in her as a child. Speak your truth out loud, to yourself first and then know it in your heart when you are with your mom.

There is a knowing inside of you of what is capable with your family. There is a hidden beauty inside you that would like to be seen. Your family may not be able to see it, and may not have been able to see it before, yet it is there and there are others who will see you for who you are. Once you release your family from what they are not able to provide, you will feel more clarity on what role they can have in your life. The parts of you that feel disturbed by the ways of your family can be healed, and if you feel compassion and care for them you will be able to have a relationship that works okay for you.

This can go two very different ways and you will adapt very well to either, though any new path can feel difficult as we adjust to putting ourselves and our needs first. You are the only person who needs and requires the full circle of your care.
