Agree about the two different types of cops.  Although I think there are more good cops than you think.   However, the current heightened anti-police sentiment is running the good cops out of the profession.  So we will be left with an even higher share of the bad ones.   Policing won't go away.  Every society on earth has some sort of law enforcement mechanism.   People should work smarter to make police departments better.   But that won't happen without a collaborative approach.  The condemnatory approach is making it worse.  [/quote]
