Every time I see someone in UD garb, I ask them if they went to Dayton and when they graduated. If they are an alum, it doesn't matter if they graduated in 1962, 1982, 2002 or 2019, the person will talk to me and ask me where I lived on campus. Because it's a Catholic school, there is an emphasis on service. And the basketball team definitely unites the community. Off topic - this was our year to win the NCAA basketball tournament.
