The gyms, however, should be undertaking a calculus that balances everyone's needs and risks, and therefore deciding to close. I would be fine with that responsible decision. I am, however, surprised at the large number of persons 70+ who continue to frequent our gym on a daily basis. My own mother, who is 80+, and lives in a cold, northern climate, has stopped going to her gym, and instead walks by herself through the woods for 5 miles a day, which obviously has its own attendant risks.[/quote]
