Go down to one car. Live in a smaller place. Develop a strict budget. If you were able to do it for that long with one income, and you just went back to work, you know it can be done.

Nothing is worth a 4+ hour daily commute. Let me say it again - NOTHING. Certainly not your marriage and certainly not your child. Simplify and redefine what is really important here. [/quote]
