The governor of Virginia comes from the eastern shore of Virginia, I think Northampton County. I grew up in Wicomico County (MD). The eastern shore of Virginia was considered to be really backwoods. Check the rates of kids going to college. They are really low. The military is the ticket out of the area for many many kids.[/quote]
