OP is 5'2 and states a guy must be at least 6'. It was not me exaggerating. She needs someone at least 10" taller. AT LEAST. That is fetish territory. Very weird.

DP. It is 100% okay to go for what rings your bell as long as you are honest about it. I like very tall, darker skin AA men. I have been upfront about that. DH is nearly a foot taller than me. I’m 5’5”. I’ve only dated one man shorter than 6’ and most were taller. I grew up with tall men. I get that height forms an irrational part of my sense of masculinity and a bunch of posters will claim that their 5’2” DHs are more manly than my DH will ever be. Good for them! I also get to have what I like if I can get it.

The average American woman is heavy, but we don’t call it a fetish if men say they won’t date a woman who is overweight. We think he’s smart and argue women should lose weight to make themselves more appealing to men who only date the slim.[/quote]
