Snowflakes need to grow up and grow a pair. My DC got into Stanford last week and I blasted it from the mountaintops. Not everyone gets a trophy. People get things and sometimes, many times you wont. Deal with it. It's called life. Ive seen one too many posters saying it creates anxiety. TOO BAD.
Who cares? My neighbors kid went to Stanford. She's an administrative assistant. Her lovely major did not transfer to jobs. My kid went to Yale that trumps your Stanford. So guess we are snowflakes in your world??? From public school. My neighbors in multimillion dollar homes came from all walks of life. Some college graduates some not. If they can afford it without a college education, I don't care that your kid got into Stanford. And most likely they will fizzle out in a few years after graduating given it's most likely more important to you then them.
