It was 1 before college and 3 at end of first year. I lost count in year 2 & 3, but was probably around 30 combined for both years. Most of my friends also had a similar number in years 2&3. Way down in year 4 and afterwards. DH would be shocked if he knew. :)
Why would DH be shocked? I assume my wife had a similar experience even though she claims a lower #. I had tons of fun in college with girls like you!
He is under the impression that I had been with very few men before him. :) I did not talk anything about this, but I may acted a bit too virginal when we are together the first time.
What does it say about your relationship -- and you character -- that you are so gleeful about his lack of knowledge on this subject?
It's scary because many women tend to downplay or omit that from their spouse. Most decent men do not want a LTR with good time Jane.
In this case it's even worse. She's happy about it -- presumably she feels good about "pulling one over" on her partner. That speaks to their relationship and her character. She probably has kids, which means these kids are going to consciously or unconsciously pick up on these unhealthy relationship dynamics. So I don't care in the sense that I have a great relationship with my spouse so what some random internet stranger is up to is no skin off my back, but I do care insofar as these attitudes flow through society and contaminate my kids' dating pool. I am equally concerned about unethical men as well as I have both sons and daughters.
DH is very conservative and religious. He wanted to wait when we first started dating and only slept after we were engaged. By that time I realized how much importance he placed on saving oneself for marriage. I fell in love with him. I do not know what purpose it would have served to let him know that the person he fell in love with had maybe 40 partners. It took nearly 3 years into our marriage for him to be come even close to bringing me to satisfaction in bed. He honestly used to think that a girl would be able to finish off in 1-2 minutes. It actually helped that I had a lot of experience, else it would have created needless friction in bedroom. I understood how inexperienced he was and as unsatisfying and frustrated it was in the bedroom, I loved him and worked on it until he was now a really good lover. Judge away...
