I used the best materials (yes those are superior to the old homes people talk about and I can go on and on about this) and carefully selected and MICROmanaged the labor. I was on site EVERY DAY and a good friend filled in as well. Before embarking on this, I bid out the work and spoke to many local custom builders. While the custom builders product is superior to the production builders, there are many compromises. The old saying is true. If you want to do it right, you need to do it yourself. [/quote]
