OP here. I’m a man. It’s obvious from my post. I wrote upthread that I’m going to speak to a lawyer. I’m not calling the police THIS TIME. But if she goes off the rails again, I get a PO to get her out of my house and have grounds to divorce her for cruelty. [/quote]

Listen, she didn’t assault you. Even if she had, most judges do not care. You still get 50% of the assets and 50% time with the children.

Seriously. I’ve known women who were hospitalized with broken bones after their husbands went into a rage. Nobody cares. They get half of everything. If you think it’s going to be different because you almost got a bruise, you’re delusional.

Yes I would. My friends who were hospitalized are the ones who tell me that nobody cares. Judges do not factor in domestic violence into custody or asset division.

I tell my other friends who have delusions that their husband giving them a black eye would lead to him losing custody of their children. It doesn’t.
