This is what 'skinny' was in the 90s.  The 'heroin chic' wasn't just about 'skinny' also about grunge, shadows under the eyes and hollow cheeks.  Kate Moss had a slight build and excellent facial structure that, with a little makeup, could be transformed into 'heroin chic'.  You could do the same thing to Twiggy from the 70s.  Heroin chic is far more descriptive of today's fashion standards (Kaia Gerber comes to mind). DP here (female).  So, you think every image/video of her is photoshopped?  Do you engage in other conspiracy theories?

A simple google search on "Kate Moss Runway" will give you a ton of hits for video of her walking runways.  It's clear that she is not 'skinny' by today's standards and she definitely has 'hips'. She's definitely sexy. If you choose to believe that all those are photoshopped, well, I'm sorry for you.

Nope, I have a skinny teenage son and the proportions are completely different.

I know your thesis is her shape only speaks to gay male designers, but that’s bunk.  If you were to measure hip to waist ratio, of KM, the geometry is as dramatic as some of the curvy examples cited.  I’ve altered dresses, although a larger woman may look curvier the percent of fabric that has to be suppressed for a skinny woman to fit a waist is often greater.  The saving grace is skinny women often don’t need a completely cinched waist to look proportionate.[/quote]

Nope, she is still shaped like a teenage boy. Maybe not your son but there are plenty of boys with that shape. We’ve all seen Kate in clothes. She has a boyish figure, including the small, almost nonexistent chest. You can try to bend it anyway you like but she looks like a teenage boy. You can try to find curves and call her curvy but she isn’t. She’s skinny, ribs showing and all. You want to believe skinny women have curves, they have don’t. But again, there is nothing wrong with that. Just own the shape and stop trying to make fetch happen. [/quote]
