There was the time we had to call poison control because the baby tried to eat a box of matches.  The time that I got stung by a bee (allergic) and went into shock, and the ambulance came for me before my husband could get home.  They left the baby with the neighbors, who had just moved in and we didn't know too well.  The time that we were in a foreign country and my daughter broke her arm in a hotel room fall, and it took hours to find a hospital that would accept a foreign patient and then the police insisted on opening a child abuse claim against us.  (As soon as we tried to hire an attorney, they dropped the charges, it turns out they were looking for a bribe but we didn't understand as it was all in another language.)  The time that my kid was the only one not to come to school dressed like her favorite book character, because I was out of town and totally spaced it, and someone told her that it was okay, she was dressed like an orphan and she asked me who that was.  So so so so many worst moments.  Fortunately, we have far more amazing moments to balance it all out. [/quote]
