It is terrible that there is no full time aide in a first grade classroom, where kids are learning how to read. At a private school, you usually get 2 adults in the room. That makes a huge difference I’m sure.[/quote]

It completely does.  I’m a little bothered by the education public school kids are getting. It seems unfair?  Have we created a system where public schools kids are not learning to spell or learn grammar rules or strong writing mechanics or history, and a private school system where they are?  Maybe it won’t make one ounce of difference at the end. But maybe it will. [/quote]
