We live in Fairfax Co and this happened to a lot of families, including ours, during a redistricting about ten years ago. Property values have never really recovered. Residents' concerns about this were mostly glossed over at the time, and to this day, it's the third rail whenever the issue comes up. It's worth noting, though, that no one on the BOS or School Board lived in a neighborhood that was negatively impacted by that redistricting.[/quote]
