This is not a matter of a difference of opinion people. This is a person who has bigoted beleifs against WHO OP IS, not what she believes. If I as a black woman found out that someone influencing my child was posting hateful things about black people, that would not be an issue of differing opinions.
Agreed. It’s not a belief system. It’s not like I’m posting that I hate Applebee’s or people who say “littles” - this person hates OP because of how she was born. That is not ok, and the fact he is teaching children is terrible.
Hating Applebee's I would describe as an opinion not a belief. Believing that homosexuality (or anything else) is morally wrong would be a belief. If you hate Applebees because you think the way they treat their employees, serve their customers, prepare their food, etc., is morally wrong, then that would be a belief system. Many people thing that homosexuality is morally wrong. That means it is a belief. That does not mean that they hate homosexuals. The religious denomination I was raised in teaches both that homosexuality is a sin and that in general we should hate the sin (regardless of what that sin is) but love the sinner. In fact, I was raised to believe that we are all sinners which is why salvation is necessary. I can personally say I have sinned (although I'm not homosexual). I try to be a good person, but I have no doubt that people could find fault with my behavior (I know I certainly can), but I hope they don't hate me. I have no idea if what the instructor's viewpoints are. He may indeed hate homosexuals. People (rather they claim any religious justification or not) can always find an excuse to hate. However, just because he believes any given action or lifestyle is wrong doesn't necessarily equate to him hating those who practice it.
