My daughter took a music class when she was 2 with a girl we know. The nanny literally sat to the side and didn't engage ONE BIT. She wasn't on her phone, but she literally sat there, looking around, biting her fingernails. This was Ms Amy's Music Makers for any of you who know it. That is a class where the caregiver is a HUGE part of the class for the kid and the kid won't get anything out of it without them. It was so strange. A bunch of other kids were there with nannies and they were all participating.[/quote]
