Its unrealistic to wear a bright red dress (of almost any style) to work and not expect someone to turn their head and as you walk by.

There are things that simply get attention. After living on earth for a while, you figure out what things get attention and sometimes that affects your choices.

Its a learning curve for girls and women regarding appearance choices. I dont believe most boys or men have to give it the same amount of consideration. Right or wrong, girls and women are constantly looked at by everyone.

As to why any one person makes any particular choice in their dress, whether teen or adult, is really something we cant know of a stranger. Im not seeing the point of judging.  I introduced my tween daughter to sports bras because she didnt like the feeling of her budding breasts bouncing. Now that she is 13 she has figured out she likes to be home without a bra on but when she goes out she always puts on a bra.
