The president is a literal traitor who disrespects women, nonwhites, immigrants, anyone who’s views differ from his, his country and human decency. Nobody owes that monster an ounce of respect. That’s not a biased opinion. It’s fact.
The president is not a literal traitor and those Americans you mention have benefited greatly from his policies. There is a growing movement of American minorities who are tired of drinking the left wing kool-aid. You are going to have to come up with more than just name calling and throwing around feelings as facts. I suggested a way that OP could engage her FIL in some civilized conversation but it doesn’t sound like she’s interested in doing that OR she’s tried with no success. I’m not sure if OP implied that her in-laws are helping them financially but if they are, perhaps she should rethink taking money from someone who is as “close minded” as her FIL.
More details please? What policies? Who benefited except for super-rich individuals and corporations?
The unemployment rate in minority populations is the lowest it’s been in decades. The president is pro AMERICA and Americans are every race, color, creed, sex, gender. The super rich always benefit from govt. You cannot seriously believe that big business and the uber wealthy don’t benefit under Democratic policies. Who do you think attends those Bernie and HRC $20,000 a plate fundraisers?
All you have is whataboutism, and saying that we have the same economy we had under Obama? Time to read some real news. Dems are on the side of working people. Obama created a healthcare system that helped 99% of America by making rich people pay their fair share of taxes. The first thing the GOP did in office was to try to destroy that healthcare system because they wanted to cut taxes on the rich. There’s only one party in America that is in thrall to billionaires: the Republican Party. And the president is pro-billionaire. He also pretends to be pro-WHITE PEOPLE so they’ll vote for the billionaires. He’s also anti-America. Have you read the Federalist Papers? The Founders specifically warned about this president. The Founders would be calling him a traitor today too. To OP: don’t talk about issues with them. Just talk about Rupert Murdoch anytime they bring up politics. Maybe they’ll figure out who is screwing them and why.
The “rich” pay almost all of the taxes in this country.
