These are good points.  Esp. about TV and the info-tainment that passes for news and using as a teaching novena for the kids.
Two comments: 
Fox is propaganda, not “news”.  It’s different from MSNBC and CNN which seek profit but havent had partisans like Ailes/Murdoch running them.  When you talk to your kids don’t imply Fox is news- esp if they’re older than 8 or so, explain what Fox (and Limbaugh) really are.
Yeah talking about politics is counterproductive.  If you say anything while you’re there, comment about Fox and its owners.  When you deal with the brainwashed you have to figure out a way to give them new information.
