Interesting that less than 0.1% of all abortions are due to rape, yet the left brings this up as the reason to keep RvW.
Absolutely. That’s the real issue. Using actual rape victims to shield your access to convenience abortion sure is grand.
I've argued that point on the majority of Georgia thread. Many of my posts get deleted because this forum generally allows the leftist ranting. As soon as you raise the question WHY overwhelming majority of abortions are preformed and HOW abortions are performed you get shut down. For example, the fact that most of abortions are sought out of convenience, not rape or life threat, is gets veiled with rape claims. The leftists use outliers from the distribution curve to access murder on demand. This is the problem that most pro-life people see. And we will not allow it. The second problem is that the leftist absolutely shut down, blot out, and censor what actually happens during the abortion, especially from 9 weeks onwards. They use euphemisms like termination, loss, etc. If it is that simple they should agree to have every woman watch her own abortion and see how on ultrasound images a 9 week old human tries to get away from abortion "tools". But they won't allow it. Because they know the truth: it's murder. It was easy to depict abortion as something remote, a simple procedure back in the 20th century, without advanced ultrasound imagery but not now. We have amazing ultrasound imagery and we can see it all. So, we won't stand for murder. But watch for the leftist insults, lies, and desperate attempt to conceal WHAT abortion is. Watch them resort to rape and incest and use those women to get what they want (even though it's been documented over and over that that's absolutely the smallest percentage of all abortions), easy access to murder out of convenience. But we are patient.
Sorry no. If you want to focus on lies or untruths, you can look at your own side. You folks are constantly referring to 3 trimester abortions as something that happens all the time. And for no good reason. When in reality, it's a small, small percentage and usually for very sad reasons (the baby is not viable outside the womb at all or for very long and with no quality of life). It's sickening. You sicken me. You're in no position to dictate such an end of life situation or to have an opinion on it whatsovever. To require the mental, emotional, and financial burdens required for such births just to satisfy your own morbid views of what is moral. And then to put those forth as if these procedures are the norm. The reason for abortions do not matter. Women are not birthing machines. If one does not want to be a parent, they should not be required to be so. And the best way of doing that is sex ed, wide availability of low cost or free birth control, and yes the ability to have a safe abortion. And unless you are adopting unwanted babies -and you're not, let's be honest, given the number of kids still in foster care- you can STFU about what other people are required to do. If your gripe is about morality, that is not a valid basis as your morality stops at your own. And in terms of "how it's described" you're just a vile human being. You and your picketing of our city's family-friendly July 4th parade. Showing your pictures to our children. There is a time and a place. And let's not pretend your picketing is anything other than attempting to shame women. And only women. Your post is evident of that. Body autonomy is the heart of individual liberties in this country. We don't make people get vaccinated. We don't make them go to the doctor. Or force them to take medication. We need probable cause for bodily searches and things of that nature. We do NOT force women to have vaginal ultrasounds at any time. And we have the right to control our own bodies during pregnancy. Your bills in the States will not change that. You've just made it unsafe to do so.
