I guess people can perceive the same things differently. What I saw yesterday was a coach, KJ, who never stopped shouting and screaming and giving direction, flapping her arms, gesturing and pointing girls into position. It was funny watching them looking at her like they needed her approval for every step. The only thing she didn't do was her signature stick check. She must have forgotten with all of her other antics.
wow, thought this was a thread about the Stone Ridge game. Only a Visi parent would call out the style of the coach of the team that just won the 2019 ISL Championship over them, for the "every single time that they have played each other in the tournament." The game was only tied for 10 seconds. Hoping you are related to the poor defender who found her self lost on the field in the 9th second of the game, looking about as sad as you sound as she watched the ball hitting the back of the net. Don't worry though, the mean girl that took the shot is graduating and won't be back---not---Saints are only graduating 4 starters and there are about 25 girls that are fighting to take their spots. Next year might be another painful one for you, with no stick checks needed, again
lol said the sssa parent who just lost to VISI last week? You were quiet then. But no ones getting on you for gloating. On Mother’s Day. Let’s hope your daughter is nothing like you.
I didn't post the above but pretty sure the point is that it pays to know when to be quiet, which is not something Visi parents have ever been known for, right? Only thing most will remember from this is that St Stephens won the championship and Visi parents are complaining about the Saints staff giving their players in-game coaching and being known to ask for stick checks (stick checks are requested all the time by smart, professional coaches at the high school and college level), which wasn't used yesterday because the game wasn't close enough to warrant. By the way, if Saints coaching is so bad, why are you people complaining about it. Imagine if the coaches read this and start making self-corrections and come to work one day doing a good job. They are all ready beating you on a regular basis. You have only won one game, ever. Do you really want to chance having to play a well coached team, if you can't beat the one that they are putting on the field now. Why not maximize your chances for success? You could say that helping them get coached up would be like sending all of your best players to a rival team. That doesn't really work here because all of yours are graduating
Not the poster you are responding to but you have just confirmed why no child of ours will/would EVER go to SSSAS. You are a bad look for your school.
I rarely post on social media and could honestly care less if anyone here likes or dislikes what I say or think. My kids have graduated from high school and college and unfortunately, I haven't seen any games this year. However, I just have to ask how you read this thread that started with a direct attack on an individual with graphic comments and then concluded what you did. Are you saying, I don't want my kids going to that school because the parents from our current school (Georgetown Visitation) are going to attack her coach? After rereading this post, it actually seems like you are one of the attackers. I will admit though, I am very upset that you made the decision on not attending. I feel like we may have missed an opportunity to increase the quality of our community both academically and athletically. If there is anything that I can do to change your mind, to include arranging a tour of the campus or an academic briefing, please let me know. Fortunately, even without your interest in making future applications for admission, year groups will still be filled to capacity with quality students. And though you will think it is a petty of me, just letting you know, any of your daughters that play lacrosse, will never have the experience of taking a photo with any future ISL AA Lacrosse Championship banners, unless of course they are photo bombing from way in the background during the awards ceremony.
