Then, there is a trial in the Senate. If he is found guilty, then the POTUS is removed from office. This has never happened. Bill Clinton was impeached in the House, but acquitted in the Senate, so he stayed in office. If the House impeaches the Orange Criminal, the Senate will hold a trial, but will most likely acquit him, as the Senate is controlled by McConnell, a criminal himself, and the GOP, complicit all.
