Glad to see there are other people who don't like Big Bang Theory. I truly cannot see what people see in that show. It's not funny, it's not relatable, and the writing is just terrible.
Well it’s been on for 12 seasons, so maybe it’s you.
Just because it's been on a long time doesn't mean it's good. It obviously is popular, and no matter how many people like it, I stand by my opinion that it's just about the worst show that I've ever had the displeasure to watch.
So it’s you.
DP. Isn't that the point of this thread? Shows that everyone else seems to like but you couldn't get into? I think comedies in particular tend to attract different people depending on your style of humor. My DH was a fan of How I Met your Mother and The Big Bang Theory whereas I did not. Whereas he couldn't stand The Office, Parks and Rec, and Veep, which I loved. I think the only comedy we both actually liked was Modern Family, which unfortunately has played out too long and became unwatchable the last couple of seasons. Other things I couldn't get into: Reality TV in general Gray's Anatomy
Yes. However, when a person says “I truly cannot see what ppl see in that show” it’s no longer about not getting into a show. It’s about their superiority bc they don’t like the show so no one else should. How hard is it to look outside of your own personal viewpoint and realize others are different. It then becomes, maybe it’s just the type of person you are that you cannot even acknowledge others could find something enjoyable that you don’t.
