Men said, women have equal access to sports. Eventually the sports analogies were removed. You really can't see how the test might be biased?[/quote] If anything, the test would be biased against poor immigrant Asian kids. I knew several Stuy kids whose parents spoke ZERO English at home and who grew up in immigrant enclaves. [/quote] Yep. The fact that 1st Gen immigrants can outperform those whose first language is English, and whose cultural norms are not US based indicates that bias is probably not what accounts for their success.
