That is a bad sign for FCV to have 3 2008s playing up. The program lacks enough good 07 players to field a full competitive squad. It would be one thing if these players put FCV into a category where they were better than the top VA teams and competing in the top Jeff Cup bracket but that is not the case. Results from the weekend show they are still middle of the road. Lack of depth has always been the FCV issue as a small club. They overcame that for many years by being one of 2 options in ECNL for the top players to move to at U13. With so many club options now people have more choices. Given that players seem to be sticking with their clubs this puts FCV in a bad spot.[/quote]
