[/quote] OK, old timer. Evite lets you click a button to put it on your calendar, and it sends you a reminder a couple of days before the event. It lets you keep the info somewhere, unlike paper invites that can get lost in the shuffle. And often you can see who else is attending, in case you want to carpool or your child wants to know who they can and cannot discuss the upcoming party with. It lets you see who has opened the invitation and who hasn't, which can signal to you that it may have gone into their junk folder; it even lets you know if the evite was "undelivered," pointing to perhaps your accidental use of an incorrect email address.
