dd told me about this when it happened.  It may have started that way (I know there was at least 1 AA kid involved). But I think it expanded from there — white kids giving to white kids.  At least one instance of a white kid giving to an AA kid.  I would agree that it was ignorance more than racism.  That the police were involved is ludicrous to me.  But it does need to be addressed in an educational way.[/quote]
