Most of the people leaving our neighborhood are white, but they are also old. As they move out, more nonwhite families seem to move in. We are in Rockville MD.
Oh please, my old neighborhood in Bethesda changed over 30 houses in the last year, and they are all white, the new neighbors that is .... I just left, but this is complete bs coming from you. In those liberal elite neighborhoods, such as my old one, it is still all white young families with multiple children (three to four in most cases). You still need 1.1 and above to purchase in that neighborhood and the generational wealth is definitely helping out. Rockville is its' own social experiment and has been for the past twenty years. The schools are not number one any longer and very well may never be again. I mean that curriculum/common core thing, what a disaster for those families! Those leaving DC are (most of whom moved into my old neighborhood) left because their liberal version that if they moved into a neighborhood, got Whole Foods there and jogged twice a day through the streets, that the neighborhood would magically transform. And it doesn't as they found out just in time for their first child to start elementary school. They left DC because that social experiment has failed as well. Case in point, the poor cashier shot last week at the Whole Foods. And to think the mayor was reelected unchallenged with the problems the city has .... I never thought I'd say this, but please bring Marion back, please!
ok, but the people moving into Rockville are all professionals. We have lawyers, doctors, scientists, IT professionals in my neighborhood. Several AA lawyers, Asian Americans, etc... I live here and see who my neighbors are. Where do you live that you think you know who's moving in/out of Rockville?
No they are NOT all professionals. You are dillusional.
? The ones in my neighborhood are. You are ignorant.
