The last two years were a continuation of the previous two years   More jobs added under Obama ‘a last two years than Trump’s first two years (look up the BLS data). Stock market also did really well during Obama’s tenure. There are two indicators where Trump’s record is more impressive: biggest peacetime and non recessionary budget deficit- I suppose it takes a multiple bankruptcy person to rack up a trillion dollar budget deficit which we will presumably pay for with cuts in the social safety net. The other is inflation which has been much higher under Trump. The sugar high of the tax cut will start to wane soon (in fact Commerce Department data indicates businesses did surprisingly little investment spending in the last year). We have trade wars to look forward to in the future. [/quote]
