If you're in Virginia, that's highly unlikely. IS tuition probably doesn't cover the cost to educate the student. The out of state students pay double.[/quote]

Well, look at it this way, if lower income students and families paid more, middle income could pay less to raise the same amount of tuition revenue.  UVA already has a significantly higher price for higher income families in state and less for lower income.  At Virginia Tech, for instance, that is much less pronounced.[/quote]
