I don’t consider her a role model at all.  A great athlete - yes.  But, I would never want my daughter behaving like she has - in this match and in the past. 
Yes, she could have responded more appropriately.  
After the accusation of coaching, she came back and won the next game easily - with a couple of aces.  The commentators (I think it was Mary Carillo) said she knows how to handle her anger.... or something like that.  But, she really doesn’t.  Otherwise, she would not have broken her racquet which led to the point penalty.  
She would have been respected more by many had she directed her “anger” at actually winning and not playing the victim.  That is what winning athletes do.  [/quote]
