I think he's actually a Trump supporter.  I remember after Trump won, Bethanny was all over social media, complaining about the protestors, how it wasn't going to change anything and that she had places to go and couldn't get there.  I guess she couldn't go see her boyfriend and he could barely leave Trump Tower because of all of the people exercising their 1st Amendment rights.  Now her reaction makes sense - at the time I thought it was an odd thing thing to say and that she risked alienating some fans (she did - I was no longer a fan after that comment).[/quote]

Dennis was longtime friends with Trump's lawyer. He worked in finance (sort of), and a lot of those guys are pro-Trump, for personal financial gain. This is starting to make more sense now. I think this was part of the rift between them. I couldn't feel the same way about a friend who was in a relationship with a Trumper. Nope, I never knew you at all and you are not the person I thought you were.

Are you referencing the rift between Carol and Bethenny?  If so, I was wondering how long  Carol  could remain friends with Bethenny after watching 
last year’s episodes and Bethenny’s obvious support for trump. [/quote]
