Yeah and the rest of us are the reason you get paychecks. The engineers I know and work with may be good at what they do but they are completely useless at anything organizational or interpersonal. And they completely lack the self awareness to recognize that their skills are only marketable when leveraged in an organization that is producing something and functioning effectively in society. Nice try, but you have it backwards. You wouldn't have a job "managing" engineers (if that's what you do) if the engineers didn't design and build a good product.

Engineers can do management better than (non-technical) managers can do engineering.

Putting some MBA who doesn't know shit about designing and building things in charge of an engineering company is a recipe for disaster.[/quote]
