Except that "passing" for white is not what "ensured" Jews' rise to the top of the food chain (as you characterize it). They did not pass. Doors were slammed in their faces - universities, employers, housing developers, community clubs, neighbors' front doors. Despite that prejudice, they managed to become successful. I know the "disconnect" frustrates you and fractures your reality. If Jews are so successful, they could not possibly suffer bigotry.....because you need to blame bigotry for failure. [/quote]
