DH believes that not listing Noyes, our IB, is a good plan because we can add it back right after the lottery and would jump the list.  I would have preferred to eliminate Bruce-Monroe as too unlikely and keep Noyes to avoid the uncertainty.  What does Swami think?[/quote]

One of our neighbors got into Langley last year despite being pretty far down the list, so I think it is not too hard.  But more importantly, is DH's strategy of adding Noyes the day after the lottery a safe one?  As I understand it, we would be placed high on the list because we are IB and then would get in if any spots opened up, and they probably would, right?  He wanted to do this so that he could have 12 other schools, but I thought 12 was overkill anyway... [/quote]
