Playing the advocate, letting it go and waiting until she retires may be a good option.  There is no win-win here.  What ever is decided is must be a clear concise decision, and come from one parent in the form of a complaint.  A mob of parents might be a little much for a new principle. 
It's a nice diverse school, and I like it.  We still need room for improvement.  Maybe it is time to get out with the old and in with the new.  This woman may just need to retire. The old ways of the of the 80s and 90s just don't work .[/quote]
