Fact:
FCB, in their initial year is a training only model and currently does not play in any leagues. Their plans are to play in Super Y and join local and regional leagues starting next fall.

FCB is overpriced or more expensive than other clubs.

Fact:
FCB is priced in line with other while providing the same number of training days. FCB also has two tiers, the Full Priced Escola (3 practices a week plus an internal friendly) and the greatly reduced Technical training. The technical training is once a week and is priced competitively with other private training companies.

Myth 3:
The talent at FCB is not very good and therefor kids are not properly challenged.

Fact:
Like any club there is a wide variance in skill but unlike other clubs who have teams playing in leagues FCB is able to place kids based on skill not solely on age/gender/team. Kids train in a true academy style. How they achieve this next year when they do participate in leagues is anyone's guess but for now not playing in leagues affords them this luxury.

Myth 4:
The model will never work

Fact:
They have been in place for less than a year, who knows how it will work out.
