Got good jobs. They live independently. Like adults should.[/quote] I mean agreed but that's not really getting "kicked out" its going away for school instead of commuting to school. Going home for 'breaks and visits' is called being in college, no? Its just normal. I was by no means "kicked out" and this was my model and I always knew I could go home if shit really hit the fan for me.[/quote] Same here. I lived at home for about six months after college, moved to an apartment for a year but then moved home for about a year so I could save up to replace my car, and then moved out for good. I would be fine with my young adult kids living at our house as they get established and save money, so long as they are working and doing their part in contributing to the household, just as they would with roommates.
