I'm a SAHM and don't appreciate last-minute requests any more than a working parent; these do need to be made in advance. However, what OP's daughter is trying to tell her is that she *needs* more time with her mom. As for the OP's schedule, no one is forcing her to work long hours. She or her husband could cut back and give their kids the attention they need and deserve.[/quote]
