How come those of us against it don't make those excuses?  I have kids. Both were newly potty trained at one time. You take your kid to the bathroom whether he says he has to go or not early on.  You have changes of clothes. you ask the child if he has to go frequently. The majority if us make it thru potty training without resorting to having our kids pee in public.

You guys making the justifications are ridiculous. The world doesn't revolve around you. Rules apply to you, too. You're no more special than any one else. Your kid has no more of a bathroom emergency than any other kid. Unless there is a sign posted allowing for public peeing, don't do it. You must be the same moms who bring your boys into the ladies' locker rooms at the rec centers even after they are above the allowable age because rules be damned for your specialness. [/quote]
