Why would you want to marry an under-educated blue collar man?
Because they are kind.
Cops have to have a college degree in most places. What are you talking about?
Some need 2 years, not most. Undereducated does not mean not smart.
You DO realize that the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) is Comprised of many, many, cops who are highly educated and have very specialized training, right? And you DO realize that like every profession, there is an entry level, mid-management and executive level that requires more education and specialized training right? Nah, you probably don't because you live in your 2x4 little bubble where you're the smartest one in the room. -20+ year wife of a retired cop, now FBI management -a pension + a paycheck + a hot manly man=Happy wife=Happy life
Lol, this is hysterical. My husband is FBI and you're not fooling anyone with that happy wife - happy life BS. We're like a big family, how many other wives are bragging about their easy going lives in the agency? I'll tell you how many...ZERO. Your husband, like every other FBI agent in the agency is underpaid, under valued & his stress level is through the ROOF... especially if he's "management" & has a team under him like you say he does. Those guys are ALL walking stress balls & every wife knows what it's like to walk on egg shells so they don't go off on you or the kids for no apparent reason. Your husband is NOT the exception to the rule, especially if he's responsible for other agents. Those guys are even more stressed. You're trying just a little too hard to convince everyone how great it is, but you can't convince someone who's lived the life.... you can't fool another FBI wife. So please stop with your delusional "happy wife-happy life" BS. If your husband doesn't come home wound as tight as a clock every day, he deserves to be fired. Bless your heart. So you're the type of dumb bunny who thinks every educator works in a classroom, every attorney goes to court every day, and every cop walks a beat. You couldn't possibly wrap your brain around someone having highly technical professional skills and working for the FBI in the capacity of training and development at the Academy or in a forensics lab in Quantico. In your mind, the ENTIRE organization is comprised of Rambo-style agents who kick in doors and come home raging with adrenaline. I don't have to convince ANYONE, much less the likes of you, that my husband is a degreed professional with a technical, scientific background who has a very happy, well balanced life, both personally and professionally. He earns both a six figure pension from his previous department and a comfortable GS-15 salary at the Bureau. He's home every evening by 6:00 pm, coaches our kids' sports teams, and he has NEVER made this sista' walk on eggshells. If your husband acts this way, I suggest you and yours seek family counseling and possibly a good family attorney. Life is too short not to be a happy wife with a happy life, lol!
