I'm a little older than you (HS and college in Clinton Admin), and while I agree that Clinton wasn't unassailable, it was clear that the attacks on him were outsize. People just really didn't like him from the get-go, and I maintain that the unprecedented role and attitude of Hillary was a huge factor in that. I grew up in an area that hated them, and Hillary was demonized from day 1.[/quote]
